In 2016, P-Direkt implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to provide ERP Financial support for core financial accounting and transaction processing across the organization. The engagement connected ERP Financial capabilities to HR and customer engagement systems to support payroll interfaces and contact center workflows.
The implementation included extensive custom development and UI extension work using ABAP Webdynpro and Adobe interactive forms, with SAP Workflow and web services used for process orchestration. Standard WebUI applications were adjusted through the enhancement concept and custom WEBUI and BOL Genil developments were applied to tailor CRM and HR user interfaces.
SAP CRM was deployed for the contact center of P-Direkt and integrations were implemented between CRM and telephony using Genesys, and between ERP and SAP HR. Integration techniques explicitly used included BDOCS, BOL Genil, SAP Workflow, WEBUI and web services to enable data exchange and call context passing between telephony, CRM and HR. Various upgrade projects were executed for both SAP CRM and SAP ERP ECC 6.0 following the initial deployment.
Change governance and operational maintenance were formalized after go live, with the project team responsible for ongoing enhancements, release upgrades and support. A notable post go live initiative replaced the standard SAP travel application in HR with two custom ABAP Webdynpro applications, a quick import application and a wizard, demonstrating a pattern of localized application development and ongoing application lifecycle management.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP HCM (HR) | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2012 | 2013 |
In 2012, P-Direkt deployed SAP HCM (HR) as its Core HR application. The implementation centralized personnel administration and internal HR workflows inside SAP HCM (HR), aligning HR process control with contact center staffing and operational needs.
Operational responsibility rested with the Users, Data & Systems team, which analyzed production data for contact center management and process improvements and performed functional management for SAP CRM and for the internal work processes of SAP HR. This team was also responsible for internal authorization management, governing role based access and user provisioning for HR modules.
The functional footprint emphasized Core HR capabilities typical for SAP HCM (HR), including personnel administration, organizational management, time and absence handling, and workflow driven HR process orchestration to support staffing and case handling. SAP HCM (HR) functioned as the system of record for employee master data and HR workflows used by operations and HR staff.
The deployment operated alongside SAP CRM with the same Users, Data & Systems team providing functional oversight for both platforms, enabling alignment between HR workflows and customer contact management. Governance focused on functional management, authorization controls, and continuous production data analysis to drive process adjustments and operational decisions.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP BW (Business Warehouse) | Data Warehouse | Analytics and BI | n/a | 2011 | 2011 |
In 2011, P-Direkt implemented SAP BW (Business Warehouse) as its Data Warehouse to consolidate HR and contact center reporting for the HR Shared Service Center of the Dutch government. The SAP BW (Business Warehouse) deployment was positioned to support reporting requirements emerging from SAP HCM and SAP CRM, serving the SCC Contact Center and HR operational teams across P-Direkt.
SAP BW was configured to provide centralized reporting, data modeling and extraction, transformation and loading workflows, aligned with standard Data Warehouse capabilities for personnel and contact event data. The implementation focused on producing operational and management reports that aggregated HR process outcomes developed in SAP HCM and contact interactions captured in SAP CRM, enabling consistent data feeds for team managers and process owners.
Operational governance and process work was led by an internal team manager who guided design and implementation of new HR processes in SAP HCM and then managed operations after Go Live. That manager was explicitly responsible for operational activities and results of his teams and for delivering projects to achieve better efficiency in the use of SAP HCM, SAP BW and SAP CRM, with the scope centered on SCC Contact Center operations and HR Shared Service Center workflows.
