| inweso | Legacy | inweso Locize | Content Management | Content Management | n/a | 2020 | 2020 | In 2020, Packlink implemented inweso Locize to outsource translations and fully automate its i18n workflow for its customer-facing shipping platform. The deployment used inweso Locize as a Content Management product-localization solution, executed as a simple SaaS integration with purchase and go-live estimated in 2020. The scope targeted Packlink operations in Spain and Europe and focused on the customer-facing web and mobile shipping interfaces. Configuration work centered on translation management, automated string extraction and synchronization, and workflow orchestration to move source text through translation and quality validation. inweso Locize was configured to manage language packs, versioned localization resources, and centralized translation memory and glossary assets to reduce repetitive manual work. API-based synchronization and in-context localization workflows were used to keep the front-end resource files aligned with the localization workspace and enable continuous localization. Operational ownership shifted away from ad hoc product and engineering translation tasks toward a centralized localization workflow, freeing product and engineering teams from manual translation tasks. The implementation impacted product, engineering and customer experience functions, and governance emphasized role-based access, centralized review workflows and staged rollouts across EU markets. As a SaaS integration the architecture required minimal on-premises infrastructure and supported a rapid purchase to go-live cadence in 2020. | |
