In 2014, Perlick Corporation implemented Epicor Cash Collect as its AR Automation platform for accounts receivable operations. The deployment centralized collector workflows for the Perlick AR team and automated routine communications and assignment processes to increase operational throughput.
Epicor Cash Collect was configured to automatically assign every account and incoming email to the responsible collector, establishing automated account ownership and email routing as core functional capabilities. Implementation activities included configuring workflow orchestration for collector task queues, standardizing email response templates and rules, and instituting new policies and procedures to govern collector responsibilities and response SLAs.
Governance changes focused on process enforcement and daily operating procedures for the accounts receivable business function, shifting time from administrative email handling to active collection work. In 2018 Perlick Corporation implemented Epicor Kinetic as its Manufacturing ERP to centralize finance and accounts receivable workflows across the company. The deployment prioritized the accounts receivable function to address scale, supporting roughly 1,300 active customer accounts managed by Perlick’s AR team.
The implementation extended Epicor Kinetic with Epicor Cash Collect to automate collections and cash application workflows within the Manufacturing ERP environment. Configuration emphasized automated account-level assignment and collections case generation, moving routine email triage and manual ticketing into rules-based workflow processing.
Integrations included mailbox ingestion from a previously shared Outlook accounts receivable inbox, and orchestration between Epicor Kinetic and Epicor Cash Collect and Lockstep for automated routing of incoming customer correspondence. Operational coverage was concentrated on the AR department, enabling collector-level ownership of accounts and reducing manual handoffs across sites.
Perlick introduced new policies and procedures alongside the technical implementation to enforce response SLAs and collector assignments, restructuring daily work intake from email triage to prioritized aging and collection activities. These governance changes aligned AR workflows with the automated assignment and case management capabilities delivered by Epicor Cash Collect.
As a result of the Epicor Kinetic and Epicor Cash Collect implementation Perlick reported that every account and email was auto assigned to the responsible collector and email responses were turned around in less than 24 hours. The AR manager noted the team shifted time away from inbox management and toward substantive collections work, a change enabled by the Manufacturing ERP automation and process controls.
