In 2014, Perlick Corporation implemented Epicor Cash Collect as its AR Automation platform for accounts receivable operations. The deployment centralized collector workflows for the Perlick AR team and automated routine communications and assignment processes to increase operational throughput.
Epicor Cash Collect was configured to automatically assign every account and incoming email to the responsible collector, establishing automated account ownership and email routing as core functional capabilities. Implementation activities included configuring workflow orchestration for collector task queues, standardizing email response templates and rules, and instituting new policies and procedures to govern collector responsibilities and response SLAs.
Governance changes focused on process enforcement and daily operating procedures for the accounts receivable business function, shifting time from administrative email handling to active collection work. As a result of the Epicor Cash Collect AR Automation implementation, Perlick reported that the AR team was turning around email responses in less than 24 hours and that the team was able to spend the bulk of their day on collections work, "We were able to spend the bulk of our day collecting… and [we] would not have gotten there if it weren’t for Epicor Cash Collect," Hlavac said.
