Oracle Legacy Oracle e-Business Suite Accounts Payable AP Automation ERP n/a 2015 2016
In 2015 Pharmaniaga Manufacturing implemented Oracle e-Business Suite Accounts Payable as part of its PIERS program and an upgrade from R11 to Oracle E-Business Suite R12. The deployment focused on AP Automation capabilities, bringing invoice processing, vendor accounting, and payment workflow automation into the upgraded ERP instance across corporate and retail operations. Configuration and functional scope included the Accounts Payable module and coordinated work across Inventory, Warehouse, Accounts Payables and Receivables, Purchasing and Order Management modules during the R12 upgrade. Project activities covered Business Requirement Study, solution configuration, User Acceptance Test preparation and execution, device validation for printers and scanners, and testing of ASRS interfaces to ensure hardware and automation components linked to the new instance. Integrations were explicitly tested and implemented with external systems, including PhIS, e-Proc, SAP, and the automated storage and retrieval system ASRS, with Integration Testing phases to validate end to end transactional flows. Operational ownership sat with the IT department which handled daily support, managed Change Request Forms, coordinated with external consultants and developers, and performed controlled deployments from testing to production. Governance and rollout relied on formal UAT, BRS driven requirements, project manager led planning, and device testing to preserve retail business continuity during cutover. The implementation positioned Oracle e-Business Suite Accounts Payable within the AP Automation category and integrated accounts payable processing into the broader ERP landscape without stated outcome metrics.

Microsoft Xilnex POS Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail POS Point Of Sale ERP Services and Operations n/a 2018 2018
In 2018 Pharmaniaga Manufacturing migrated Xilnex POS to Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail POS. Pharmaniaga Manufacturing implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail POS as its Point Of Sale solution to consolidate retail transaction processing and core ERP functions across its pharmacy operations. The deployment consolidated retail POS front ends at Royale Pharmacy sites with Microsoft Dynamics AX serving as the central ERP backbone, supporting Point Of Sale capabilities including transaction processing, cashier workflows, inventory visibility, pricing and promotions configuration, and centralized product master management. Configuration work focused on aligning retail workflows with AX retail and inventory settings, and on defining cashier roles and tender handling within the Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail POS environment. Sales transactions were integrated into Dynamics AX inventory and financial modules to align retail receipts with back office inventory control and accounting records. Operational coverage targeted Pharmaniaga's pharmacy retail operations in Malaysia, with internal IT staff retaining system administration and first line support responsibilities following the migration. Governance was managed by an internal migration project team led by the system administrator who previously operated Xilnex POS, the same administrator responsible for identifying system issues and driving the migration effort. The project team handled configuration, user role provisioning, cutover planning, and process changes required to move retail points of sale into the Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail POS platform.
