The deployment established a single global instance strategy to consolidate and standardize core ERP processes, positioning Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations as the ERP Financial platform supporting finance and operations functions across the organization.
The implementation emphasized standardization and variation reduction across global processes, configuring financial management and operations modules common to the Apps Category ERP Financial such as general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, inventory control and manufacturing-oriented operations. The program architecture included project management and governance controls to manage milestones, baseline schedules, issues and risks, and it applied structured project management practices for on-time, on-budget delivery and post-project lessons learned.
Architecture and integrations were driven by a Microsoft stack orientation, leveraging Exchange, O365, Access and Identity, Azure and SharePoint for identity, collaboration and infrastructure integration.
