In 2018 Pokka Singapore implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its core ERP Financial system to consolidate transactional finance and operational workflows. The implementation project centered on Oracle E-Business Suite 12 and targeted consolidation of multiple prior systems including Oracle EBS 11i, Flexi, and Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, with the Web Sales Application interfaced into Oracle E-Business Suite 12 to unify order and revenue flows.
The Oracle E-Business Suite deployment encompassed standard ERP Financial capabilities such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and fixed asset processing, configured to support finance and accounting process automation and role based security. Custom integration work was performed using VB.Net programs and interface development to bridge the Web Sales Application and other operational systems into Oracle E-Business Suite, preserving transactional integrity across sales and finance functions.
Operational coverage extended across IT, finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and commercial sales channels, with explicit interfaces to the Sales web application and vending system. The broader ERP landscape continued to include AX2012 R3 for supply chain and manufacturing support, with documented SQL Server administration, SSRS configuration, backup and restore procedures maintained to support hybrid operations and cross system reporting.
Governance and support included an internal IT lead who participated from project start through post live support, vendor coordination to manage ERP communications, creation of user accounts and role based authorities, and development of detailed documentation and knowledge base artifacts for ongoing support.
