UKG Legacy UKG Workforce Central Timekeeper (ex Kronos Workforce Timekeeper) Time and Attendance HCM n/a 2019 2019
In 2019 Pope Packaging implemented UKG Workforce Central Timekeeper (ex Kronos Workforce Timekeeper) to centralize Time and Attendance across its Australia and New Zealand operations. The deployment was positioned to support payroll and workforce timekeeping for an 800 employee consumer packaged goods manufacturer, with direct payroll processing for about 100 staff in Australia and eight staff in New Zealand. The UKG Workforce Central Timekeeper implementation focused on core Time and Attendance capabilities, including time capture and timesheet management, leave and accrual tracking, and payroll interfacing. Configuration work supported month end journals and reconciliation activities that are part of regular finance close, including balance sheet reconciliation, prepayments and accruals, and leave comparison reporting used in profit and loss analysis. Integrations include operational links to D365 Dynamics and Sage payroll using Kronos timesheet data as part of the payroll feed. The system supported end to end payroll activities documented in internal procedures, covering payroll processing, superannuation, WorkCover, payroll tax, annual leave and long service leave liabilities, oncost liability journals, and IRD lodgement and payments across Australia and New Zealand. Operational governance centered on timesheet validation and adjustment workflows to address month end abnormalities, production of reporting packs for board review, and finance cross‑functional roles where payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and finance manager backup responsibilities intersected with timekeeping. Day to day controls included timesheet-to-payroll reconciliations and supervision of junior accounts payable staff to maintain accuracy of payroll related liabilities and downstream finance journal entries.

Sinch Legacy Pathwire Mailgun Transactional Email PaaS n/a 2018 2018
In 2018, Pope Packaging implemented Pathwire Mailgun for Transactional Email on their public website. The deployment focused on system-triggered messages such as order confirmations, shipping notifications and account alerts to support the companys e-commerce touchpoints. Pathwire Mailgun was configured using standard transactional email components including SMTP relay and HTTP API endpoints, templating for dynamic content, and webhook event delivery for bounce and engagement events. Domain authentication such as SPF and DKIM was established alongside suppression list handling to align sending controls and deliverability practices. Operationally the implementation was integrated into the website checkout and order processing workflows, enabling automated notifications to customers and routing delivery events to internal teams for handling returns and inquiries. The Transactional Email implementation impacted e-commerce and customer service business functions and required coordination between web development and operations teams. Governance was instituted through template versioning, API key management and webhook event monitoring to support operational troubleshooting and inbox placement analysis. Ongoing monitoring of delivery events and suppression feeds provided the telemetry needed to manage transactional flows without modifying core back office systems.
