The implementation included a version upgrade from ECC 5 to ECC 6 enhance package 5 and targeted the SAP HCM suite with multiple module-level enhancements. Key functional capabilities delivered included the SAP E-compensation module with custom enhancements, Process & Forms using the Web Dynpro interface and complex workflow orchestration, SAP TDMS to create scrambled production copies for test environments, and deployment of the standard SAP Tax Reporter to generate payroll tax files and provide employees online access to W-2 and W-2C forms.
Additional realizations covered benefits and payroll feature work, including creation of Health Savings Account plans, medical plans, and 401(k) plans with complex vesting and employer contribution rules, implementation of payroll gross-up, application of BSI upgrades and bulletins, a complete redesign of the salary statement, and development of new interfaces to support payroll and HR data flows. The program also encompassed conversions for company structural changes such as mergers or downsizing, and maintained test environment provisioning through TDMS.
