In 2016, Preem implemented Infor M3 as a Manufacturing ERP to modernize central parts of its system landscape. The deployment was scoped for 600 users across Preem's organization in Sweden and formed part of the company change management program SVAR, with explicit aims to standardize the information and process model and to harmonize finance.
Infor M3 was configured to deliver core Manufacturing ERP capabilities, with emphasis on financial management, supply chain and production control, and inventory visibility to support refinery and downstream operations. The architecture centered on an organization-wide Infor M3 deployment in Sweden, intended to support integrated transactional processes between refining operations and commercial sales functions.
Governance and rollout were coordinated through the SVAR change program, with process standardization and information governance driving sequencing across finance and operational teams.
