IBM Legacy IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2018 2018
In 2018, Proman USA, formerly Pampa Fuels, deployed IBM Maximo as its Enterprise Asset Management platform at its Pampa, Texas operations. The engagement ran January 2018 to July 2018 and focused on implementing IBM Maximo Asset Enterprise Management (EAM) version 7.6 for facility and maintenance work management, with a project team sized between six and ten contributors. Configuration work centered on IBM Maximo 7.6 and included development of role-based training content for end users and trainers. The implementation configured DataSplice mobile for work order, asset, inventory, and warehouse management, integrating mobile devices with relational databases and enabling both online and offline mobile workflows. The technical footprint extended beyond Maximo to data integration and reporting infrastructure, with ETL jobs maintained to load data into a Data Warehouse and Informatica used for ETL processing. Day-to-day application support covered IBM Maximo, Informatica ETL, and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, with performance optimization and tuning performed on data warehouse and ETL operations and troubleshooting of data anomalies in collaboration with business and source system owners. Governance and process work included writing and executing quality assurance test cases for end-to-end business processes, developing requirements and project documentation, and facilitating business process confirmation meetings. Standardized process documentation and instructor-led and virtual training programs were developed and delivered, including train-the-trainer sessions and classes for up to 15 users, to embed consistent workflows for work management and asset tracking. Operational responsibilities also included managing work scope, task execution, communications, and reporting for the project team during the implementation period. The IBM Maximo deployment established structured procedures for tracking, managing, and reporting facility related work across maintenance, inventory, and warehouse functions within Proman USA.
