| Guidewire | Legacy | Guidewire BillingCenter | Insurance Billing Administration | ERP Services and Operations | GFT Technologies | 2023 | 2023 | In 2023 Promutuel Insurance began implementing Guidewire BillingCenter on Guidewire Cloud as the next step toward completing a full Guidewire InsuranceSuite deployment. Promutuel had concurrently deployed Guidewire ClaimCenter and Guidewire PolicyCenter to Guidewire Cloud earlier in the same program, and GFT Technologies led the Guidewire BillingCenter implementation project. Guidewire BillingCenter was provisioned as the Insurance Billing Administration component to centralize premium invoicing, billing schedules, accounts receivable orchestration, and payment lifecycle management consistent with standard billing administration capabilities. Configuration emphasized policy-linked billing flows and invoice lifecycle automation to align billing transactions with underwriting and claims events managed in Guidewire systems. Deployment architecture is centered on Guidewire Cloud, enabling Guidewire BillingCenter to operate alongside Guidewire ClaimCenter and Guidewire PolicyCenter in a unified cloud-hosted InsuranceSuite. Integration points are focused on exchanging policy, endorsement and claims status data to support broker-facing billing, policyholder statements, and collections processes, with the implementation scoped to support Promutuel Insurance business functions for underwriting, claims administration, broker services and policyholder servicing. GFT Technologies led the implementation with support from Guidewire Services, and the initiative was positioned to simplify IT operations and keep product versions current as stated by Promutuel leadership. Promutuel has described the deployment as intended to deliver more value to brokers and policyholders and to create conditions to improve customer experience, risk management, profitability and innovation. | |
