In 2017, PSA International implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as part of the PSA Finance Cloud Transformation, deploying a finance-focused ERP Financial program for its Singapore operations. The initiative addressed finance and order processing workflows and involved moving core finance functions from Oracle E-Business Suite to Oracle Cloud ERP to standardize transaction processing and reporting.
The technical implementation centered on Oracle Integration Cloud for integration orchestration, and included FBDI based conversions, SOAP and REST service integration, and BIP report development. Implementation activity documented includes design and development of transformation logic, exposure of REST endpoint URLs to create orders in Oracle Cloud ERP using JSON payloads, and development of more than 15 integrations to support finance and order flows.
Integrations were built to connect Fusion ERP to third party vendor systems, with conversion work to migrate transactional data via FBDI and programmatic interfaces. The integration layer handled large payloads exceeding 10MB and incorporated exception handlers and transformation logging to support data quality and error diagnostics across finance teams.
Project governance was technical lead driven, with a Senior Technical Consultant from Chain-sys in Chennai acting as Oracle Cloud Integration and BIP developer, designer, and project lead. Deliverables emphasized integration development, conversion scripts, BIP reporting artifacts, and runtime exception handling, forming the operational backbone for finance and order creation processes in Oracle Cloud ERP.
