The deployment established a single fixed asset register used by accounting staff to support month end close activities and maintain capitalization records for all entities.
Oracle NetSuite Fixed Assets Management was configured to manage core fixed asset capabilities including asset master data, capitalization workflows, work in progress tracking, in service processing, depreciation scheduling, and automated journal entry generation. The application supported routine tasks performed by the finance team such as preparing balance sheet reconciliations, booking monthly accruals, recording journal entries, and analyzing monthly variances.
Operational coverage extended across finance, accounting, procurement, and audit functions, with the Fixed Assets Management implementation aligning asset transactions to procurement and accounts payable workflows and to general ledger accounting processes.
