In 2022 Quanex implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial application. The implementation was executed with SI Osi Digital and focused on consolidating 13 disparate ERP instances into a single Oracle E-Business Suite deployment for Quanex Building Products, with core development activity based in Akron, OH.
Architecture and application design used Blazor Server and C# .NET Core front ends connected directly to Oracle via EF Core 7 to enable workflow enhancements and tighter data integration. Functional modules implemented in Oracle E-Business Suite covered Order Entry, Order Management, Shipping and Packing, and front end components were built to transition away from prior MVC and MSSQL middleware patterns toward direct Oracle connectivity.
Parallel projects extended operational coverage beyond core ERP functions, including plant safety dashboards using Blazor Server front ends with MSSQL backends to capture daily check sheets for plant floor safety. Workforce and payroll integrations included a UKG Web Time Clock payroll interface that handled clock in clock out shifts breaks and transfers, and Azure Active Directory syncing for onboarding and offboarding via REST API to UKG.
Delivery and governance incorporated Azure DevOps pipelines established for all projects and DevOps interfaces to ServiceNow for ticketing and change coordination. The Quanex Oracle E-Business Suite ERP Financial deployment therefore covered order to cash and fulfillment processes payroll interfacing and plant floor safety workflows, with identity and release governance rooted in Azure AD and Azure DevOps driven controls.

Ongoing administration concentrates on user provisioning, meeting security settings and embedding maintenance to support both external and internal conferencing needs.
