Intuit Legacy Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2011 2011
In 2011, Raceway implemented Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise to support core accounting and payroll operations. The Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise deployment was scoped to Raceway's finance organization at the 450 employee retailer and addressed ERP Financial responsibilities including payroll, tax filings, accounts receivable and accounts payable. Configuration centered on weekly payroll processing and tax reporting, with Quickbooks used to maintain weekly payroll records, calculate withholding, and prepare employer 941 filings along with quarterly 940 and ESC filings and monthly state withholding returns. Accounts receivable and accounts payable capabilities in Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise were configured to post AR and AP transactions, capture vendor invoices, and manage payment execution workflows. Operationally the deployment consolidated mail opening, vendor invoice capture, and bill payment into the accounting workflow so that physical invoice receipt fed AP posting and payment activities in Quickbooks. Financial functions impacted included payroll administration, corporate and state tax compliance, sales and federal tax tracking, and day to day accounts administration across Raceway's corporate finance team. Governance established recurring schedules and procedural controls for weekly payroll maintenance, monthly state withholding filing, quarterly 940 and ESC submissions, and ongoing oversight of employer 941 taxes. Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise served as the system of record for postings and centralized responsibility for tax filing and bill payments within Raceway's finance function.
