In 2017 Revenue NSW ran a proof of concept using SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to validate ERP Financial capabilities. The engagement was executed from Parramatta by a SCRUM team and included a Functional FICO analyst responsible for conceptual solution design and playback to the client.
The delivery focused on SAP modules FI CA, RE FX, and PSCD, with configuration and process mapping targeted at contract accounts receivable and collections, real estate contract accounting, and public sector debt management. The Functional FICO analyst produced sprint level solution designs and worked through three week sprints using AGILE methodology to move from concept to playback.
Architecturally the proof of concept positioned a Salesforce front end integrated to an SAP back end, aiming to converge multiple disparate systems into a single platform, with SAP ERP ECC 6.0 providing the ERP Financial transaction and master data services. Integration patterns emphasized front end orchestration and back end financial posting and billing services, aligning Salesforce user journeys with SAP FI CA, RE FX, and PSCD processing.
Governance was delivered through a SCRUM model, sprint based playback cycles, and iterative conceptual design reviews, supporting business process requirements across Revenue NSW finance and revenue operations. The work documented solution scope and functional mappings for ERP Financial operations, without further deployment details provided.

In 2015, Revenue NSW implemented SAP HCM (HR) as its Core HR solution. The implementation targeted a public sector workforce of about 2,500 employees and centralized core human resources processes for the agency.
The SAP HCM (HR) deployment emphasized core HR modules aligned to the Core HR category, including personnel administration, organizational management, employee self service functionality, time management and payroll-related HR workflows. Configuration work included front-end SAP HCM screens for HR business users and ESS interfaces for employees, plus structured support for onboarding, induction and learning related to new HR processes.
Operational coverage for the rollout included the Revenue NSW corporate training function based in Parramatta and statewide training activity delivered across New South Wales, with extensive coordination of seminars, webinars and public-facing events. Training records and associated documentation were compiled and electronically stored in TRIM and in training databases, and classroom and blended learning scenarios were validated through system testing prior to delivery.
Governance and process restructuring accompanied the technical deployment, with the training team producing facilitator guides, learner guides and step-by-step manuals, conducting learning needs analysis with business stakeholders, and establishing scheduling, assessment and post-course evaluation workflows. The deployment emphasized coordinated stakeholder engagement, change management through structured training programs and operational readiness checks for systems and venues prior to wider adoption.

Debtrak Debt Collection Software System was configured to support payment arrangement intake, payment in full processing, case lifecycle management, and account reconciliation workflows. Configuration emphasized agent-facing case views, automated correspondence generation, and workflow rules for escalation and account holds, aligning system behavior with Revenue NSW collections operational processes.
The platform is used by Revenue NSW debt recovery agents, with recorded usage from April 2022 to present for managing payment arrangements and payment-in-full transactions, and it supports coordination with other NSW organisations to recover debts and fees.
