Configuration and functional modules included NetSuite OneWorld driven revenue recognition workflows, item and pricing management, order orchestration and multi-location inventory capabilities. Roku also leveraged NetSuite APIs to support transactions across multiple channels, and the implementation eliminated manual order processing steps, saving countless hours while reducing monthly financial close time by 500 percent.
Integrations supported in the implementation included an electronic data interchange solution delivered through NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer Partner SPS Commerce for large retail customers, multi-location inventory synchronization between a northern California warehouse and a third-party logistics provider, and transactional connections to more than 100 retailers including Costco, Walmart, Target, Amazon and Best Buy. The deployment also centralized purchasing and contract manufacturer control across dozens of suppliers and positioned Roku to expand operations into Canada and the United Kingdom.
Governance shifted from siloed spreadsheets to centralized financial controls and real-time visibility into customer, sales and inventory data, enabling faster decision making and scale. The cloud cost-efficiencies and streamlined back office allowed Roku to reallocate IT and administrative resources toward product innovation, including the launch of the Roku TV, while improving speed to market and operational agility.

Integrations and operational orchestration relied on Workday EIB for batch data exchange and automated feeds, and reporting artifacts were provisioned to HR and benefits administration for operational oversight. Governance was formalized through Business Process Framework configurations and role-based security, and the implementation was managed by internal Workday systems engineering resources responsible for configuration, integrations, reporting, and release management of Workday Absence Management.
