In 2013, Rose Pharmacy implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial application. The engagement delivered an Oracle E-Business Suite Financials R12 deployment to centralize finance and accounting operations for Rose Pharmacy, a retail pharmacy chain in the Philippines with approximately 570 employees.
The implementation concentrated on core Oracle Financials modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and Cash Management, configured to support retail accounting workflows, subledger accounting and statutory reporting typical for Philippine retail operations. Configuration work included chart of accounts design, ledger and subledger structures, AR/AP automation and fixed asset schedules to align transaction processing with month end close and statutory filing cycles.
Project governance was executed through a dedicated project manager and functional analyst who oversaw configuration, testing and user acceptance activities and established handover procedures for ongoing finance support. Rose Pharmacy’s sister companies continued operating on SAP Business One, with functional support provided for those SAP Business One environments alongside the Oracle E-Business Suite Financials R12 deployment.
