| SAP | Pronto XI ERP | SAP S/4 HANA | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2016 | 2017 |
In 2016, Saputo Dairy Australia implemented SAP S/4 HANA as an ERP Financial solution, replacing Pronto XI ERP to centralize transactional finance and operational accounting. The implementation targeted the Australian division and site finance functions, embedding SAP S/4 HANA into finance, supply chain and costing workflows to support site level and corporate reporting.
The deployment focused on Finance Operations, Supply Chain costing, Inventory management and Material Master maintenance within SAP S/4 HANA, supplemented by forecasting, budgeting and BI reporting capabilities. SAP S/4 HANA was configured to handle month end processes, weekly 3rd Party Milk forecasts, inventory valuation and working capital visibility, with development of BI reports to shorten run time and improve metric visibility.
Data migration activities included extracting and migrating Inventory and Material Master data from Pronto XI ERP into SAP S/4 HANA, with testing cycles, business acceptance and hypercare tracking. Operational coverage included site finance teams such as the Cobram site, finance business partners for Milk Supply and 3rd Party Milk planning, and cross functional stakeholders in Operations and Supply Chain responsible for end user reporting and forecasts.
Governance relied on embedded finance subject matter experts and a Business Process Owner model to drive adoption, gather requirements, coordinate testing and deliver end user training. The program executed staged rollouts with hypercare support and exited hypercare on schedule, outcomes reported by the business included migrated data with minimal variances, reductions in inventory levels and working capital, elimination of manual work through solution enhancements and BI reports that improved visibility and reduced report run time.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP HCM (HR) | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016 Saputo Australia implemented SAP HCM (HR) to establish Core HR capabilities across its Australian operations. The implementation focused on core payroll and time management for the Australian payroll environment, and extended to talent processes including recruiting, compensation, performance and goals management. SAP HCM (HR) was positioned as the transactional Core HR system supporting HR and payroll teams.
The deployment included SuccessFactors Employee Central, SuccessFactors Recruiting Management, SuccessFactors Compensation, and SuccessFactors Performance and Goals, together with on premise SAP HCM payroll and time management modules. The program delivered Spinifex reporting, multiple SAP HR support pack upgrade projects, and managed SuccessFactors quarterly drops, instance refreshes, data migration, role based permissions configuration, workflow enhancements and business rules. Configuration work emphasized standard core HR workflows for recruiting life cycles, compensation cycles and time capture.
Integrations were central to the architecture, SuccessFactors modules were integrated with one another and with SAP ECC via Del Boomi, and Kronos Workforce Central for Time and Attendance was integrated with SAP HCM using NW PI. SAP HCM interfaces also used ALE/Idocs for standard SAP inbound and outbound messaging patterns. The integration topology tied cloud-based SuccessFactors talent management to on premise SAP HCM payroll and time engines through Del Boomi and NW PI middleware.
Operational governance covered quarterly SuccessFactors maintenance cycles, instance refresh governance, and hands on management of data migration, RBP permissions and workflow-driven approvals. Several SAP HR support pack upgrade projects were executed as part of ongoing application maintenance for the SAP HCM (HR) estate. Support scope emphasized Australian payroll and time management, HR reporting through Spinifex, and operational alignment between cloud and on premise HR components.
The program implemented a new Australian Payroll solution and integrated SuccessFactors Employee Central with SAP HR via Del Boomi, while Kronos integrations via NW PI connected time and attendance to payroll processes. SAP HCM (HR) served as the transactional Core HR platform, with SuccessFactors providing cloud-based talent management and Del Boomi and NW PI acting as primary integration middleware.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP Manufacturing Execution | Manufacturing Execution System | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, Saputo Australia implemented SAP Manufacturing Execution, a Manufacturing Execution System, to standardize shop floor control and production execution across its manufacturing operations. The SAP Manufacturing Execution deployment focused on capturing real time production data and enforcing process control within manufacturing and quality functions.
Configuration emphasized core MES capabilities such as production order execution, shop floor data collection from operator terminals, equipment and work center management, quality inspection recording, and material genealogy tracking consistent with Manufacturing Execution System best practices. The program included master data alignment tasks and scenario based functional testing to validate process flows and production traceability.
The implementation integrated with SAP ERP and SAP PP for production orders, routing and material movement reconciliation, enabling synchronous order release and confirmation between the ERP and MES layers. Master data management was a central governance element to ensure consistency of BOM, routing and material identifiers across SAP ERP and the SAP Manufacturing Execution environment.
Governance and rollout were underpinned by structured functional testing and specification driven configuration, with governance controls placed on master data updates and production process change requests. Operational ownership was aligned to manufacturing operations and quality teams, with process orchestration configured to support shop floor execution and inspection workflows.
