Oracle Legacy Oracle Cloud ERP ERP Financial ERP EvoSys 2020 2020
In 2020 Saudi Airlines Catering Company implemented Oracle Cloud ERP with EvoSys as the systems integrator, executing a constrained ERP Financial migration from on premise SAP ERP on a 12 week timeline. The program included Oracle ERP Cloud and Oracle HCM Cloud as the primary applications to centralize finance and HCM payroll processes across the organization. Implementation scope and modules focused on core financials and HCM payroll workflows, including accounts payable and receivable transaction processing, payslip distribution, and inter branch receivable and payable automation. A Projects segment was added to the chart of accounts to enable profitability tracking at customer and client levels, lookup codes were created to identify suppliers and customers by country and division, and a secondary BSV qualifier was assigned to generate trial balance outputs at multiple levels including region, division, project, and department. Key user training for Oracle Cloud Solutions was delivered in batches of 15 users over 10 days, with training activities spanning 20 days within the 12 week implementation. Data migration and operational coverage were explicit parts of the rollout, with full data migration from SAP to Oracle Cloud executed twice, once during the UAT phase and again during the production cutover. Regions were modeled as business units for security segmentation, enabling region level data, user, and report security so that users and reports are scoped to their respective regions. Transaction uploads were optimized by bulk Excel loads to reduce manual entry, and online forms were implemented to eliminate paper workflows for HR self service and approvals. Governance and rollout sequencing prioritized rapid scope finalization and process automation, with the project functional scope settled within the first 21 days of the engagement. Security design included data, user, and report security controls, and a workaround for automatic position code generation was delivered to meet local process needs. EvoSys executed the SAP to Oracle Cloud migration services and provided configuration, data migration, and training support to meet the compressed timeline. Outcomes documented by the engagement included automated finance and HCM payroll processes, elimination of paper through online forms and approvals, reduced manual AP and AR workload via Excel upload, centralized control of receipts and payments, and enforced region wise data access so regions can process transactions and run reports only for their own data.

The implementation aligns with Collaboration category functionality, typically encompassing Exchange Online for corporate email, SharePoint Online and OneDrive for document management and intranet content, Microsoft Teams for synchronous collaboration, and Office applications for end-user productivity.
