The implementation leveraged Basware's cloud SaaS architecture and the Basware Network to provision transaction services across Scania's global footprint, with Basware and Scania operating together in 36 countries while Scania maintains operations in about 100 countries. Operational coverage targeted accounts payable and procurement teams to standardize invoice processing and supplier onboarding across multiple sites and jurisdictions.
