In 2017, Schulich School of Business implemented SAP Sports One Solution as part of its Analytics and BI initiatives. The deployment targeted academic and industry-facing analytics to support sports, media and entertainment programming embedded in Schulich coursework and event activities.
The implementation emphasized Analytics and BI capabilities including centralized dashboards, real-time data visualization, KPI reporting and data modeling to support performance analytics, audience measurement and classroom case work. Configurations included role-based access for faculty, researchers and students and prebuilt reporting templates for event and media performance analysis.
Operational scope aligned the SAP Sports One Solution with campus event data and media analytics feeds used in coursework and industry engagement activities, without naming external systems. The platform was applied to process event attendance and engagement datasets that informed seminars, panels and student projects.
