In 2010 Sedgman implemented Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as its core ERP Financial platform, with the global Shared Services organization providing SME input and training leadership. The implementation was led operationally from Brisbane Shared Services, where a Shared Services Manager led a team of 12 to drive global process improvement across financial and procurement operations.
The Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne deployment encompassed core financial modules and adjacent business support capabilities, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Corporate Procurement with vendor master data management, Travel and Expense Management, and Facilities Management workflow alignment. The project included development of business documentation, role-based training programs and go-live training delivery for end users, reflecting an emphasis on configuration-driven process standardization and automation of invoice and procurement workflows.
Operational coverage extended across Sedgman’s global support footprint, with travel expenditure governance circa $3 million per annum and shared services budget oversight around $5 million. The implementation narrative shows consolidation of AP and procurement processes into a centralized shared services model, and the Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environment was positioned to support that centralized operational support and ongoing process harmonization.
Governance and change management were formalized through a change champion approach, business process ownership and project management practices. One explicit outcome from the associated process redesign was a reduction in Accounts Payable processing touch points and processing time, enabling a 50 percent reduction in headcount for that function, and a separate procurement initiative achieved a circa $1 million cost reduction. The team also drew on prior experience in full SAP implementation for blueprinting, system integration testing, user acceptance testing and training as part of the overall program.

| Infinite Computer Solutions | PageUp ATS | Infinite BrassRing ( Formerly IBM Kenexa BrassRing ) | Applicant Tracking System | HCM | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, Sedgman implemented Infinite BrassRing ( Formerly IBM Kenexa BrassRing ) as its Applicant Tracking System, replacing PageUp ATS and embedding the platform into the public careers site. The implementation positioned Infinite BrassRing ( Formerly IBM Kenexa BrassRing ) to support Sedgman's HR and talent acquisition functions, consolidating job requisitions, external job postings, and application intake for a 1200 employee workforce. The public career site serves as the primary candidate entry point and uses BrassRing hosted recruitment pages to manage job catalogs and application flows.
Configuration focused on core Applicant Tracking System capabilities, including job posting management, candidate profile capture, resume parsing, configurable candidate status workflows, interview scheduling, and offer administration. The deployment used the BrassRing career site experience to surface search and apply workflows, and it was configured to enforce structured requisition approval and role based access controls for recruiting and HR users. Reporting and basic recruitment workflow automation were enabled to support recruiter case management and compliance oriented record keeping.
Operational coverage centered on Sedgman's HR and talent acquisition teams who administer requisitions and progress candidates through screens, interviews and offers, with the careers site providing external candidate self service. Governance changes included centralized posting controls and standardized candidate status workflows to create repeatable hiring processes within the Applicant Tracking System. The implementation is visible on the hosted BrassRing careers portal used for Sedgman recruitment.
