In 2019, Seismic implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP in the ERP Financial category to centralize accounts payable, vendor management and expense processing for its finance and accounting organization. The deployment was oriented around AP controls and vendor lifecycle management supporting the companys Professional Services finance function.
Oracle NetSuite ERP was configured to support core accounts payable workflows, including invoice entry, invoice review and approval, expense report processing, vendor record maintenance, vendor account reconciliations and 1099 maintenance. The implementation also included a vendor contract archive process to retain documentation required for payment approvals and auditability.
The NetSuite environment was integrated with MineralTree for AP automation and payment execution, enabling invoice and payment status synchronization between systems. This integration supported payment routing and helped maintain a single source of truth for vendor transactions by passing invoice data and payment confirmations into Oracle NetSuite ERP.
Operational governance emphasized a mandatory AP review of all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment, timely invoice entry and payment, maintenance of vendor records, and preparation of vendor account reconciliations. Day to day responsibilities extended to supporting accounts payable and expense report processing, 1099 maintenance, and assisting the Accounting Manager on special projects, aligning system workflows with established finance controls and audit requirements.

In 2016, Seismic implemented Drift AI Chatbot on its public website to provide automated, real-time visitor engagement. Drift AI Chatbot was introduced as part of Seismic’s Chatbots and Conversational AI capability to support marketing and sales digital touchpoints and improve initial lead interaction.
The Drift AI Chatbot deployment focused on conversational workflows and rule based qualification, with configuration of scripted playbooks, contextual prompts, and session handoff to human agents for complex inquiries. Implementation work included tuning conversational content, configuring routing logic for sales and support inquiries, and establishing message templates and personalization tokens consistent with website engagement patterns.
Technically the chatbot was embedded as a web widget within Seismic’s site front end and operated as a persistent session engine for visitor interactions, capturing structured lead data through formless capture and inline question flows. Operational ownership centered on marketing and sales teams who leveraged chatbot transcripts and conversational context to inform follow up workflows and pipeline development.
Governance emphasized conversational content lifecycle and iterative model training, with processes to review chatbot responses, update playbooks, and align escalation rules with sales operations. Drift AI Chatbot remained the visible conversational interface, and its role was defined within Seismic’s Chatbots and Conversational AI practice for ongoing management and refinement.
