In 2013, Service Logic implemented Volaris Key2Act Signature. Volaris Key2Act Signature was adopted as the companys Field Service Management platform to centralize contract billing, service call processing, and month end revenue workflows across accounting, sales, and service operations.
The implementation configured explicit contract management capabilities including multi million dollar contract tracking, Auto and Non Auto billing schedules, contract addendums and cancellations, and a formalized revenue recognition process for maintenance accounts. Service call management features were used to support a mass close process for completed service calls and to produce operational and financial reports for executive review. The deployment included reporting and tooling to monitor contract performance and accounts receivable activity.
Integrations were implemented with Microsoft Dynamics GP for cash application and general ledger reconciliation, reflecting documented use of Microsoft Dynamics Key2Act class workflows in accounting processes. Operational coverage emphasized coordination between Sales, Accounting, and Service teams to ensure contract inception, billing, and collections were aligned with operational tasking and job accounting.
Governance and process changes accompanied the technical rollout, including a company wide contract renewal procedure, centralized contract file retention in both hard and digital formats, and standardized month close activities that reclassified vendor credits and completed job accounting. These procedural controls supported the configured capabilities in Volaris Key2Act Signature and formalized cross functional workflows for contract billing and revenue recognition.
