In 2015, SeTek implemented OpenCart as its e-commerce storefront on its public website, using OpenCart to support online retail sales in Macedonia. The implementation positions OpenCart as the core Shopping Cart Management application for SeTek, providing a customer facing catalog, shopping cart, and checkout flow integrated into the company website.
OpenCart was configured with standard Shopping Cart Management capabilities including product catalog and category management, configurable product options, cart and multi-step checkout, order management and back office administration, tax and shipping configuration, and extension support for payment modules. The deployment follows a typical OpenCart architecture with a web hosted PHP and MySQL application stack serving the public storefront and an administrative console used by merchandising and e-commerce operations to manage listings, pricing, inventory, and order workflows.
