In 2010, Shoplet implemented an In-House ERP in the ERP Financial category to manage contract pricing and sales reporting for its sales organization. The In-House ERP was developed as a web-based application using PHP5 and the Zend Framework, applying MVC patterns to centralize pricing workflows and deliver a browser-accessible user interface. The system provides create, edit and approve capabilities for Contract Pricing, enabling both salesperson and sales manager roles to enter and authorize pricing changes. The implementation provided a user-friendly interface for checking sales reports using PHP5, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Functional modules included a Contract Pricing module with role-based approval workflows for salesperson and sales manager, and a Sales Reporting module that surfaced sales data to sales users. Governance and process controls were implemented inside the application through role-based permissions and approval steps, aligning pricing authorization with sales and sales management responsibilities. Development and operational ownership remained in-house, keeping configuration, enhancements and support within Shoplet's small development team and focused on the sales function.

In 2020, Shoplet implemented USPS Click-N-Ship on its website to handle e-commerce postage and label workflows. Shoplet uses USPS Click-N-Ship as its Shipping Management application for order fulfillment and shipping operations, embedding USPS Click-N-Ship functionality into the storefront to enable postage purchase, automated label generation, carrier service selection, address validation, and tracking number assignment at point of sale. The deployment is scoped to Shoplet's US-based fulfillment operation, supporting the small company shipping and operations team in processing customer orders through web-driven shipping flows.
Configuration work emphasized web integration for single and batch label printing, service rules for parcel class selection, and payment of postage through the USPS Click-N-Ship flow, with storefront administration controls for shipping profiles and printer setup. Governance and process changes centered on updating fulfillment standard operating procedures to route order handling through the website shipping flow and restricting label generation and shipment confirmation capabilities to designated fulfillment staff. This implementation places USPS Click-N-Ship at the center of Shoplet's Shipping Management capability within its online order-to-ship process.
