In 2018 Sidel implemented Moodle LMS as a Learning and Development platform, deploying the application on their corporate website to centralize training content. The implementation targeted employee-facing learning needs for the manufacturing and corporate workforce, using Moodle LMS as the primary delivery layer for structured courses and policy distribution.
Configuration focused on core Learning and Development capabilities typical to Moodle LMS, including course creation and management, role based access for administrators instructors and learners, assessment and quiz engines, assignment submission workflows, and content packaging support such as SCORM and multimedia course materials. The deployment emphasized cataloging courses by skill and function to support recurring compliance and skills training across production and office teams.
Operational coverage concentrated on internal learning and HR driven learning programs, with governance instituted through defined course owners enrollment approval workflows and administrator oversight for content lifecycle.
