Project governance and delivery responsibilities were executed by the Siemens project team and internal consultants. Project governance included supervision of five consultants and thirty super users across four sites in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada and Singapore. The SAP SD lead managed IT testing, process mapping workshops, go-live coordination and early life support activities, and provided configuration, training and facilitation for the bespoke spare parts process. Change activities emphasized workshop facilitation and role-based training to operationalize new SD and EDI workflows. Ongoing operational scope covered SD, EDI and Salesforce integration support and continued direction on related issues during early life support. Siemens Group UK positioned SAP S/4 HANA as the transactional backbone for ERP Financial, sales and supply chain business functions.
