In 2016, Societe Generale deployed KDS Neo Travel and Expense to centralize corporate travel booking and Expense Management across its organization. The rollout targeted 11,000 users in five countries and extended across all divisions, positioning the application as the groupwide user interface for business trip planning and self-booking.
KDS Neo Travel and Expense was implemented with its door-to-door itinerary engine, calendar-based interface, and an auto-expense capability that predicts related expenses and can complete expense claims in seconds when the company activates that option. Functional coverage emphasized self-service booking workflows, itinerary generation, and automated expense capture, aligning travel booking and expense reporting in a single platform.
The deployment was supported through a reseller and service arrangement with BCD Travel, which began a reseller agreement with KDS that included ongoing training and support for BCD product specialists. Societe Generale also renewed its global TMC contract with BCD Travel for five years, and the bank has an established KDS relationship in France, the U.K., Luxembourg, Belgium and The Netherlands dating to 2005, enabling regional continuity during rollout.
Governance and operational adoption focused on integrating traveler compliance controls and surfacing data for procurement and sourcing teams, enabling capture of program data to inform sourcing decisions. KDS Neo Travel and Expense delivered consolidated booking and expense workflows, with the auto-expense and predictive expense features reducing manual claim steps when activated, and BCD Travel providing ongoing operational support and specialist training as part of the reseller arrangement.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle PeopleSoft HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2016 | 2018 |
In 2016 Societe Generale implemented Oracle PeopleSoft HCM to provide Core HR functionality across the group. The Oracle PeopleSoft HCM deployment served as the bank's core human resources application and was supported and maintained by an internal technical team beginning in 2016, with operational coverage specifically addressing ASIA and EMEA Core HR functionalities.
The implementation included extensive module development and configuration, with end-to-end builds for employee offboarding, onboarding, standard letters, work from home, absence management, and a warm site application to support continuity. Data migration processes were designed and developed for HR components including employee personal data, job data, benefits data, compensation data, education, licenses, rewards and recognitions, and bank accounts data, and reusable mass upload processes were created for job and personal data updates.
Integration work focused on a mix of inbound and outbound interfaces to support data flows into and out of Oracle PeopleSoft HCM, and reporting was implemented using Oracle BI Publisher, SQR and PS/Query. The operational scope included both Run the Bank and Change the Bank activities for Soci t G n rale Group's ASIA and EMEA Core HR functions, indicating sustained production support and configuration management across those regions.
Application governance emphasized release management and stakeholder communication, with a senior technical developer role owning production deployments and release coordination. The program combined BAU application support and planned change control, and technical ownership included interface design, report development and migration orchestration to maintain Core HR service continuity within Societe Generale.

| TIBCO Software | Legacy | TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM | Business Process Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015, Societe Generale implemented TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM as a foundational Business Process Management platform to address a broad, industrial scale of process needs. The bank selected TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM based on an existing technology relationship and the perceived robustness of the TIBCO BusinessWorks integration fundamentals, aligning the deployment with an ambition to cover a wide variety of uses across deterministic and less deterministic process types.
The TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM implementation was positioned to support both classic BPM workflows and case management patterns, reflecting the dual nature of Societe Generale's file handling requirements. The platform was applied to deterministic process orchestration and to more adaptive case management workflows, leveraging typical Business Process Management capabilities such as workflow modeling, orchestration, business rules and human task management to govern process and case life cycles.
Architecturally the program leaned on TIBCO BusinessWorks for the integration layer and on TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM for process execution, forming a technological foundation intended for industrialized, enterprise grade operations. The implementation narrative emphasizes flexibility and platform-level support for a variety of use cases rather than point solutions, indicating a centralized process orchestration layer integrated with the bank's broader application estate via TIBCO integration technology.
Governance and operational coverage focused on standardizing how Societe Generale manages files and processes across deterministic BPM and less deterministic case scenarios, placing process owners and workflow governance at the center of rollout decisions. The TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM deployment therefore served both Business Process Management and case management needs, with explicit intent to unify process governance and support multiple business functions related to file and case processing.
