FNZ Legacy FNZ-A Suite Portfolio and Investment Management Investment Management n/a 2018 2018
In 2018, Sparkasse Schwarzwald-Baar implemented DIAMOS-AI S+ as a Portfolio and Investment Management platform to centralize management of alternative investments held in Depot A, including AIF positions in real estate, infrastructure and other assets. The deployment targeted the bank s controlling and overall bank management functions and was positioned to streamline executive board reporting, risk controlling and regulatory reporting workflows across the institution. DIAMOS-AI S+ was configured to provide consolidated data collection from fund participation through to underlying targets, with historicised and traceable storage of data to enable plausibility checks and an auditable data lineage. Functional capabilities implemented included automated data and document processing, support for capital call and distribution data, forecast ingestion and an integrated risk assessment module for alternative investments, along with transparent presentation of shareholding structures such as fund of funds and target funds. The implementation leveraged automated interfaces for data supply from asset managers and established partner communication processes that included Golding Capital Partners, while also supporting the BVI standard for exchange of real estate data. Consolidated outputs were made available to the bank s reporting system at overall bank level, supplying structured data for capital requirements, deductible equity items and open foreign currency positions at fund level, and enabling extended risk bearing capacity assessment beyond the usual 12 month horizon. Governance and process changes centered on creating a company wide uniform data base, reducing manual and error prone aggregation work and improving traceability of data changes. DIAMOS AG noted the solution is operated from a certified data processing centre in Germany and stated that DIAMOS-AI S+ provides an audit proof, accountable platform that reduces costs and effort while improving data quality, supporting the bank in addressing supervisory assessment changes and potential expansion of its AIF holdings.
