ServiceNow Legacy ServiceNow HR HR Service Delivery HCM n/a 2017 2017
In 2017 Standard Chartered Bank Australia implemented ServiceNow HR within its HR Service Delivery program to operationalize a global flexible working capability. This deployment used ServiceNow HR and Employee Journey Management as core components to enable end to end workflow management and employee engagement tied to the bank’s myHR portal. The implementation leveraged the full suite of HR Service Delivery modules, including Employee Journey Management, knowledge management, live chat with HR advisors, automated document generation and people leaders dashboards. The team configured integrated workflow design that triggers a third party compliance declaration form when an application is submitted and automated generation of flexible work letters, achieving 98 percent automation of those letters. Integrations and operational coverage included the myHR portal as the front end campaign mechanism, knowledge base articles surfaced to employees, live chat routing to HR advisors, and analytics dashboards for the HR team. The program supported almost 48,000 applicants across 28 markets to date, produced more than half a million knowledge article views, and recorded 6,942 queries, with knowledge base articles averaging a 95 percent effectiveness rating and a 4.63 out of 5 service score from the automated Voice of Customer survey sent via ServiceNow. Governance and process changes centered on HR monitoring through performance analytics dashboards and people leader dashboards to manage approvals and compliance workflows, allowing the HR organization to scale and extend the solution across additional markets. The bank reports that ServiceNow HR continues to be central to rolling out the flexible working program and the team plans further global rollout of the flexi work solution.

Temenos Legacy Temenos T24 Core Banking ERP Services and Operations n/a 2016 2016
In 2016, Standard Chartered Bank Australia implemented Temenos T24, deploying Temenos T24 as its Core Banking solution for its Australian operations. The engagement established a T24 ERP system framework and technical standards to support retail and corporate banking workflows within the bank. The implementation emphasized a technical architecture driven by DevOps and CI/CD practices, with developments pushed into an integrated regression environment prior to release. Delivery leadership responsibilities included developing project schedules using PPM/EPM tools such as MS Project, producing rolling twelve month supply and demand reports for vertical leadership, and defining technical standards for the Temenos T24 framework. Operational delivery was coordinated across transnational teams, with the technical architect orchestrating solution designs and providing on the job training and mentoring to junior developers. Functional configuration aligned with Core Banking capabilities, including core ledger and accounts processing, payments processing, and customer data management configured within Temenos T24 to support Standard Chartered Bank Australia. Governance and process structure were formalized through an Agile engagement approach, with sprint planning, daily scrum, and sprint retrospection embedded into delivery cadence, and integrated regression testing used as a release control mechanism.

MicroStrategy Legacy MicroStrategy ONE Analytics Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2015 2018
In 2015, Standard Chartered Bank Australia implemented MicroStrategy ONE Analytics as part of a new Data Management and MI strategy supporting the Financial Crime and Compliance program in the Americas. MicroStrategy ONE Analytics was deployed within an Analytics and BI platform architecture centered on a centralized curated HADOOP data lake and a shared toolchain to produce consistent management information. The implementation covered MI pipelines, report and dashboard development, and data preparation workflows. MicroStrategy ONE Analytics served as the enterprise reporting and dashboard layer, Paxata was used for data transformation, Tableau provided complementary visualization capabilities, and SharePoint functioned as the mechanism for data capture and operational workflow coordination. Integrations tied MicroStrategy ONE Analytics directly to the centralized HADOOP data lake and to Paxata, Tableau, and SharePoint to enable curated datasets for compliance reporting. Operational scope focused on Financial Crime and Compliance functions across the Americas, with an internal team managing the implementation and aligning MI delivery to compliance use cases. Governance and process work established a centralized curated database and common tools to standardize data management and MI outputs for the compliance program. The narrative emphasizes MicroStrategy ONE Analytics within the Analytics and BI stack, its integration footprint, and the centralized data architecture used to support Financial Crime and Compliance reporting.
