The deployment retained Alaska Payroll AKPAY on a mainframe until Phase 4 Human Resource Management and Payroll HRM was scheduled for November 22, 2016, requiring interim integration strategies between CGI Advantage Financial Management and existing payroll processes. Governance and rollout were implemented with a centralized change management and governance structure established in Phase 1, formalizing decision rights, agency onboarding, and sequential phase gates. The solution was delivered by CGI using its Advantage Enterprise Resource Planning product, with IRIS also incorporating debt management and learning management functionality as part of the broader program.
