Aon Ireland | Professional Services | 60000 | $15.7B | Ireland | Oracle | Oracle PeopleSoft HCM | Core HR | 2000 |
In 2000, Aon Ireland implemented Oracle PeopleSoft HCM as its Core HR platform, engaging CGI as the systems integrator for a large-scale PeopleSoft deployment. The implementation encompassed Oracle PeopleSoft HCM core components, deploying PeopleSoft HRMS, Payroll, benefits, benefits administration, and competencies to support HR and payroll operations.
Configuration work focused on PeopleSoft HRMS data structures, payroll processing configuration, benefits administration workflows, and competency management functionality. The deployment included setup of employee and retiree records and competency frameworks, aligned with Core HR functional terminology and standard PeopleSoft HCM workflows.
Operational coverage included Aon Reed Stenhouse Canada wide employees and retirees across 13 locations and 20 business units, indicating multi-site and multi-business-unit HR processing and benefits administration scope. The rollout required coordination across HR and payroll teams and addressed cross-business unit HR data consolidation and consistent benefits administration.
CGI acted as the implementation partner and project managed the rollout, and the Aon PeopleSoft implementation was showcased to the Ontario PeopleSoft Users Group as part of governance and community engagement. The program also reflected implementation experience with succession planning and advanced PeopleSoft modules in parallel engagements, reinforcing governance through formal project management structures.

Baltimore Gas and Electric | Utilities | 3400 | $3.3B | United States | CGI Group | CGI PragmaCAD | Workforce Management | 2004 |
In 2004, Baltimore Gas and Electric went live with CGI PragmaCAD as part of CGI's Mobile Workforce Management suite. The deployment targeted electric and gas field operations in the United States and centralized dispatch and field execution workflows under the Workforce Management application.
BGE implemented the PragmaCAD automated dispatch module integrated with BGE's work order systems to enable automated crew assignment and sequencing. The live configuration eliminated paper work-orders and enabled real-time status updates from mobile crews into central operations, supporting electronic work-order handling and consolidated reporting. The implementation leveraged mobile workforce capabilities for in-field status capture, crew routing, and event-driven updates to job status and completion.
The solution architecture connected a central dispatch engine and operational database to field mobile clients through real-time synchronization, with bidirectional integration into BGE's enterprise work order systems to maintain order state and history. CGI served as the systems integrator and provider, deploying CGI PragmaCAD alongside its Mobile Workforce Management suite to operate within BGE's operational technology landscape.
Rollout emphasis was on dispatch centers and field crews, standardizing dispatch workflows and shifting execution from paper to electronic processes. Explicit outcomes from the live system included real-time status updates, elimination of paper work-orders, and improved responsiveness and reporting across field crews.

Bell | Communications | 40390 | $24.4B | Canada | CGI Group | CGI Tapestry Order Management | Order Management | 2006 |
In 2006, Bell implemented CGI Tapestry Order Management as part of its Pegasus Sympatico program to consolidate order capture, provisioning and troubleshooting for consumer IP services in Canada. The deployment went live in October 2006 and was used for provisioning and order management across Bell's consumer IP footprint.
The implementation of CGI Tapestry Order Management focused on order orchestration and service provisioning capabilities, with inferred module usage that included Order Acquisition Manager and Service Manager. Configuration work emphasized centralized order capture, workflow orchestration for service activation, and embedded troubleshooting workflows consistent with Order Management functional terminology.
Architecturally the solution was positioned to interface with IP provisioning systems and operational support systems, delivering end to end control of the order lifecycle from acquisition through service activation. Integrations concentrated on provisioning interfaces, inventory reconciliation, and order status feeds into customer care and field operations teams supporting Canadian consumer services.
Governance and rollout were managed under the Pegasus Sympatico program, with program level coordination across consumer service, provisioning, and troubleshooting functions and an October 2006 go live. The CGI Tapestry Order Management deployment established a centralized operational control point for consumer IP order workflows and provisioning orchestration.
