The implementation included discrete CGI modules for Time and Leave, Labor Allocation, and Payroll. Configuration work emphasized timecard management, accrual and leave balance processing, leave request workflows, and labor distribution logic tied to agency cost centers, aligning standard time and attendance automation with public sector payroll cycles. The CGI deployment replaced a prior UKG Workforce Central system, and project design accounted for integration with parallel Workday HCM and Benefits plans, with Workday HCM and Benefits designated to manage HR master data and benefits eligibility. Data synchronization and payroll interface points were planned to ensure employee demographics, position and funding strings, and leave eligibility reconciled between CGI Advantage Human Resource Management Time and Leave and Workday HCM and Benefits. Governance changes included consolidating time and leave policies into a centralized technical workflow, establishing payroll cutoff and approval controls within CGI, and defining agency-level timekeeping roles for time entry and exception management.
