SuMi TRUST Global Asset Services implemented SS&C Advent Geneva as its Portfolio and Investment Management platform to replace Linedata MFact for fund accounting and related operations.
The implementation of SS&C Advent Geneva encompassed fund accounting, portfolio accounting and position management capabilities, with configuration of pricing, reporting and straight through processing workflows. The deployment emphasized standardization of accounting rules, instrument and position lifecycles, reconciliation workflows and report generation modules consistent with Portfolio and Investment Management functional requirements.
Enterprise architecture workstreams addressed integration points with upstream pricing feeds, downstream reporting engines and straight through processing pipelines, replacing or upgrading interfacing systems as required. Data model harmonization, interface specifications and end to end trade lifecycle orchestration were executed to support the Geneva implementation and the connected pricing, reporting and STP environments.
The program included business process documentation, detailed requirements gathering, an RFP driven vendor assessment and selection phase, resource enhancement and management, vendor management, and comprehensive implementation and testing.
