Functional capabilities implemented included Concur Travel structure for business expense reports, assignment of accounting unit and company code, GL account and activity group coding for depreciation, and data entry controls executed through workflow and Swift for assigning accounting unit codes and GL accounts to depreciated assets.
The implementation was aligned with Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets financial processes, enabling coding and transaction-level handoffs between expense reports, AP invoice processing, and fixed asset depreciation accounting. Integration points focused on passing structured financial attributes such as company code, GL account, activity group, and asset identifiers into the corporate ledger and asset management processes.
Governance changes emphasized project-level budget approval workflows, standardized coding for depreciation of assets, and audit support through preparation of fixed asset and accumulated depreciation inquiries.
