Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations ERP Financial ERP Financial Management Cisco Systems 2019 2019
In 2019 Synamedia implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations as part of a global ERP Financial programme executed during the company carve out from Cisco. The programme supported a global rollout for Synamedia, a United Kingdom headquartered professional services company of approximately 1100 employees, and was aligned with divestment activities to separate the business from Cisco. The implementation encompassed Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations alongside complementary Dynamics 365 modules for CRM CE, HR Talent, and Supply Chain to deliver integrated ERP Financial capabilities. Configuration work focused on core financials, procurement to pay flows, revenue accounting, and supply chain orchestration, consistent with ERP Financial functional terminology and end to end financial process coverage. Cisco Systems acted as the SI VAR for the programme and third party supplier management explicitly included Microsoft and Quantiq. The deployment was organized as a global programme structure coordinating multiple vendor touchpoints and application delivery streams while supporting legal entity carve out and operational continuity requirements. Programme governance was centralized under a Programme Director who led a large global team, managed C suite level stakeholder engagement, and executed programme recovery actions within a stated budget of £10m. Activities included designing the Target Operating Model, formal third party supplier management, and aligning processes to meet Private Equity ownership requirements as part of the divestment driven rollout.

Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources Core HR HCM Cisco Systems 2019 2019
In 2019, Synamedia implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources as its Core HR system. The program focused on consolidating HR and pay records for an organization of approximately 1100 employees in the Professional Services business function, establishing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources as the system of record for employee master data and compensation-related information. Implementation activity centered on data migration and cleansing, combining, cleansing and validating HR and pay data from multiple source systems to prepare for the Dynamics 365 deployment. Functional workstreams included employee record management, capture of compensation attributes required for the annual bonus cycle, and processes to record real time changes to pay, grade and location within the Core HR application. Synamedia coordinated system design with external software suppliers and engaged Cisco Systems as an implementation partner to support dataset consolidation and migration tasks. The program resolved data anomalies in partnership with business stakeholders and used macro driven spreadsheets to capture and manage budgeting and spend for the annual bonus cycle prior to and during cutover to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources. Governance and operational handoffs emphasized data stewardship and business partner validation, with HRIS analysts cleansing datasets and coordinating anomaly resolution before migration. Ongoing workflows were structured to capture live personnel changes and to ensure validated HR and pay data fed into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources as the centralized Core HR capability.
