SAP Legacy SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial ERP n/a 2019 2020
In 2019, Synthos Group implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its core ERP Financial platform. The program targeted a rapid, comprehensive deployment with explicit requirements for flexible system scaling and an integrated Disaster Recovery solution to secure production continuity. The implementation focused on SAP S/4 HANA configuration for core finance functions consistent with ERP Financial requirements, including general ledger processing, accounts payable and receivable workflows, cash and treasury management, and financial close orchestration. The project emphasized dynamic environment provisioning to support iterative configuration and immediate incorporation of changes during cutover and stabilization phases. Architecturally the solution combined on-premise production hosting with a cloud-based Disaster Recovery landing zone in Amazon Web Services. The DR environment was provisioned on EC2 instances, using EBS volumes to right-size I/O performance and Amazon S3 for durable backup storage, with AMI-based images used to recreate systems on demand. After capacity verification, primary production was moved to the company server room while the DR configuration remained operated and maintained in AWS, and SE16N acted as the implementation partner for the cloud environment. Operational governance emphasized start and stop controls for nonproduction systems, on-demand scaling during implementation, and regular backup replication to S3 to support DR readiness. Synthos Group reported that the deployment met its stated goals for cost-effective implementation, rapid deployment dynamics, right-sized scalability, and a cost-efficient Disaster Recovery approach using SAP S/4 HANA supported by AWS infrastructure.

SAP Legacy SAP HCM (HR) Core HR HCM n/a 2018 2018
In 2018, Synthos implemented SAP HCM (HR) in the Core HR category and extended the system with the Gavdi Payroll Cost Planning and Reporting Platform. The Synthos Capital Group has managed the HR area since January 2019 using SAP HCM and Gavdi products, covering approximately 2,050 employees in Poland and 1,000 employees in the Czech Republic. After basic SAP HCM functionalities were in place, the Gavdi Payroll Cost Planning and Reporting Platform was deployed to support budgeting, salary forecasting and employment planning. The implementation incorporated modules for remuneration planning, multi-variant budgeting and analytics down to the individual payroll component. The solution supports two parallel reporting approaches, by payout dates to reconcile planned expenses with payroll outputs, and a period for perspective to present book provisions for future periodic bonuses. The Gavdi solution is fed by direct reads from the SAP HCM system and by independent spreadsheets that collect variables affecting remuneration, including global and individual salary growth, cost of salary supplements, bonuses, Social Fund write-offs, ZUS surcharges and the new PPK budget burden. Internal data extraction functions and Gavdi Reporter were used to ingest and harmonize data across entities, enabling standardized analytics for all budgeted units. The platform was used to prepare the 2020 budget across multiple variants and assumptions. The deployment emphasized close cooperation between Synthos and Gavdi, with mutual transfer of knowledge and compressed timelines that required alignment on business expectations and technical possibilities. Synthos reports that the Gavdi Payroll Cost Planning and Reporting Platform improved personnel controlling processes, standardized data layout across locations and provided flexible planning capabilities that client users can adjust without programming support. Cost monitoring and access for planners became more effective, enabling verification of planned costs in aggregated form as well as at the employee and payroll component level.
