In 2016, Talanx implemented Serrala FinanceSuite. Talanx implemented Serrala FinanceSuite as an AP Automation solution for accounts payable and group finance functions within its German operations.
The Serrala FinanceSuite rollout concentrated on core AP Automation capabilities, including electronic invoice capture and OCR, automated approval workflows, exception handling and invoice matching, supplier master data controls, and payment orchestration. The implementation of Serrala FinanceSuite was configured to centralize invoice processing, enforce approval routing and three way match controls, and maintain audit trails and compliance checkpoints consistent with finance operating procedures.
The program was executed as a finance led initiative to standardize accounts payable policies and role based approvals across Talanx finance teams, embedding governance for invoice validation, segregation of duties and scheduled payment processing. Operational rollout emphasized workflow standardization and controls to align AP Automation with corporate accounting and compliance processes.

The deployment is web-facing on Talanx's site while routing applicant records into recruiter-facing workflows, emphasizing centralized vacancy publishing and structured candidate pipelines. Governance includes role-based access controls, standardized hiring workflows and applicant data privacy controls to manage records and reviewer permissions, aligning the Talanx In-House ATS Applicant Tracking System with enterprise recruiting operations.

In 2010, Talanx implemented SAP Policy Management to consolidate and standardize policy administration across its property and casualty subsidiaries HDI-Gerling and HDI Direkt in Germany. The deployment targeted core policy lifecycle functions and product configuration to speed product time-to-market and automate contract processing. This work was executed under the Insurance Policy Administration category to centralize policy handling across lines of business.
The implementation explicitly used SAP Policy Management, leveraging the FS-PM module set to provide policy contract modeling, product model configuration, rule-driven processing, automated contract workflows, and policy issuance and endorsement capabilities. Configuration emphasized standardized data models and reusable product templates to enforce consistent business rules and accelerate new product rollout. These functional modules supported underwriting interaction, policy servicing, and routine policy administration processes consistent with Insurance Policy Administration systems.
Rollout was led with SAP involvement and Accenture as the system integrator, and execution spanned both HDI-Gerling and HDI Direkt operations in Germany, aligning operational processes and governance across the subsidiaries. Integrations and operational scope were organized to connect policy administration processes with underwriting and servicing workflows, while centralized governance enforced standardized product and contract rules across sites. The program delivered faster processing and standardized policy handling across lines of business.
