Development and configuration work used Oracle Developer Suite components, specifically Oracle Forms and Report Builder, XML Publisher templates and PL/SQL programming to deliver custom forms, reports and transaction automation. The technical architecture was built on IBM hardware running Linux, with Oracle EBS release 11.5.10 and Oracle Database as the data tier. The solution used a web three-tier application model, clustering for high availability and a Mega WAN design to support distributed access, and Xmanager was used for administration and remote management during development and cutover. Project staffing included senior technical resources responsible for forms, reports and PL/SQL development and for supporting business process adoption during rollout. The implementation was scoped to the TANA group and emphasized application-level governance around financial process standardization, technical configuration control and operational support during the 2010 to 2012 rollout period.
