Oracle Legacy Oracle E-Business Suite ERP Financial ERP n/a 2013 2014
In 2013, Thales Australia, Ltd. implemented Oracle E-Business Suite under the UniFi program to unify Australia and New Zealand business lines. The implementation targeted the ERP Financial category and was scoped to central corporate shared services, concentrating on finance, procurement and project accounting workflows across the corporate team. Oracle E-Business Suite was configured to deliver core financial management capabilities, procurement process support and project accounting integration consistent with ERP Financial deployments. Operational coverage spanned Thales Australia and New Zealand business lines, enabling centralized processing for shared services such as finance, legal, HR and procurement while preserving project level visibility required by manufacturing and engineering functions. Governance and rollout were managed as a program level initiative under the Program Manager UniFi, with a focus on program management practices, stakeholder engagement and organizational change facilitation. Program artifacts included staged rollout sequencing, detailed data migration plans, supplier contract coordination and governance processes to maintain financial control and project reporting during the transition.
