Project governance followed Agile methodology with sprint planning, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and JIRA for delivery, risk and issue tracking. The project manager and business analyst functions led the finance and banking workstream, managed the project team and instituted workflow changes such as automated invoice to GL interfaces to minimize manual ledger postings. Operational scope covered Accounts Payable, employee expenses, finance and banking processes across HCF with reporting integration through Cognos TM1 and ERP upgrade workstreams. The initiative received internal recognition, earning a runner up project team innovation award in 2018 and second place for communication in 2016.
