Oracle Legacy Oracle PeopleSoft Payables AP Automation ERP n/a 2024 2024
In 2024 the University of Notre Dame Australia implemented Oracle PeopleSoft Payables as its AP Automation solution. The Oracle PeopleSoft Payables deployment was provisioned within the university’s existing PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 estate, documented at PUM image 39 with PeopleTools 8.58, aligning the new payables capability to the established AP, AR, GL and eProcurement modules under the CFO business domain. The implementation focused on PeopleSoft Payables core modules and configuration for invoice capture and voucher processing, three way PO matching with eProcurement, supplier master and payment processing orchestration. Standard PeopleSoft capabilities were configured to support automated approval workflows, supplier onboarding controls, tax and ledger coding, and audit trail instrumentation consistent with higher education financial controls. Integrations leverage the native PeopleSoft architecture to connect Oracle PeopleSoft Payables with FSCM GL for accounting entries, eProcurement for purchase order and receipt reconciliation, and HCM for employee supplier and expense data. Operational coverage was scoped to the university finance, procurement, treasury and People & Culture functions, preserving centralized master data in the PeopleSoft suite and enabling coordinated reconciliation and reporting across campus financial operations. Governance and process alignment were routed through the CFO and People & Culture stakeholders, with configuration governance using PeopleTools workflow and security roles to enforce approval chains and supplier master change controls. The implementation narrative reflects a PeopleSoft-centric architecture, maintaining application version coherence and module interoperability while embedding AP Automation controls into university financial operations.

Oracle PeopleSoft HCM is described as providing a more contemporary, user friendly system to enhance the employee experience and training is delivered through PeopleSoft Blackboard pages with options for online or face to face sessions. FCM Travel Solutions Legacy FCM Savi Online Booking Reservation and Booking Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2022 2022
In 2022 The University of Notre Dame Australia implemented FCM Savi Online Booking as its centralized Reservation and Booking Management application for all university travel. The deployment covers university wide corporate travel managed by FCM Travel, consolidating request, approval and booking workflows into an online Travel Hub accessible to staff via single sign on. FCM Savi Online Booking was configured to expose core functional modules including traveler profile management, trip request creation, an approval workflow, and an online self booking portal. The implementation embeds guidance assets such as training videos, quick reference guides for requesters and travel arrangers, and a Notre Dame Travel Guide, with explicit procedural steps from Request to Approve to Book to align user behavior with system workflows. Integration points documented in the rollout include university single sign on for staff access and an email notification channel that issues approval confirmations and itineraries, for example the approval message with subject great news your trip has been approved. The Travel Hub requires use of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browsers and surfaces actionable requests via a my actionable requests tab, with a Book Online option preferred to avoid additional consultant fees for sent bookings. Governance and process rules were formalized as part of the implementation, replacing the prior paper trip request form with the online Create Trip Request flow and mandating that travelling staff be added using Search Travellers rather than the Add Guest option which is reserved for non staff. Staff are instructed to verify profile details such as passport name, UNDA email, mobile number and frequent flyer numbers before booking because charges will be incurred for changes after confirmation, and if an itinerary is not received within 24 hours staff are directed to email undaau@fcmtravel.com.au for follow up.
