The technical scope explicitly tied OBIA administration to the Student Information Analytics Data Warehouse to deliver reporting and dashboarding for student administration and academic analytics functions.
Operational governance was defined around database and BI administration, with DBAs managing patching, tuning and RMAN schedules while the BI architect retained responsibility for OBIA application administration and data warehouse operations. DataGuard and RAC components were implemented to provide business continuity, and RMAN supported the documented backup, recovery and cloning procedures.
