In 2017, TJ Maxx implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial platform. The work was organized inside the Global Finance Solution Delivery team, embedding Business Analysts into Scrum teams to translate finance requirements into product epics, features and user stories while maintaining enterprise finance alignment.
Oracle E-Business Suite Finance modules were configured to support core ledger activity, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, fixed assets and financial close workflows, with Business Analysts producing process maps, data flow diagrams, requirements specifications and acceptance test cases. The Business Analyst role owned backlog prioritization, sizing input during planning, and the development of user stories and acceptance criteria to govern module configuration and automated finance workflows.
Integrations referenced in the implementation included Vertex Sales and Use Tax, ReconNet financial reconciliation, various tax reporting systems, Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Financial Management, indicating a connected tax, reconciliation and FP&A landscape. Architects and IT groups worked with the finance product team to ensure the system architecture accommodated these integrations and supported data flow between reconciliation, tax engines and planning systems, while Business Analysts acted as the day-to-day liaison with business SMEs.
Governance and delivery followed Agile Scrum practices, with BA-led backlog prioritization events, sprint planning and acceptance testing embedded into release cycles. Controls and compliance considerations including Sarbanes Oxley, PCI and PII awareness were incorporated into requirements, testing and change control, and cross-functional stakeholder management and formal handoffs were used to operationalize the solution.
Operationally the implementation focused on finance, tax, reconciliation and planning functions across the Global Finance Product team, with Business Analysts driving end user adoption, training and post-implementation support activities to embed Oracle E-Business Suite into daily finance operations.

In 2010, TJ Maxx implemented Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS as its Core HR platform, establishing a centralized application for employee master data, workforce administration, and HR process orchestration. Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS was positioned to support HR transactional workflows and foundational human resources functions across the organization.
Between November 2016 and January 2018, a Lead Business Analyst at TJX Europe documented and delivered a targeted program that extended the Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS footprint across three countries. The engagement identified and documented all business requirements for an Oracle to Kronos integration, and additional solution design was defined through a series of focused workshops.
Implementation work included formalized solution design artifacts and integration specifications for time and attendance data flow into Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS, aligning workforce management and core HR records. Testing governance was comprehensive, with oversight and facilitation of Unit Testing, System Testing, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and Regression Testing to validate interfaces and HR processes.
Governance and rollout emphasized structured requirements capture, workshop-driven design validation, and staged testing across the three-country scope. The project outcome recorded in project documentation indicates the program was successfully delivered for three countries, resolving prior delivery challenges and stabilizing the Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS integration with Kronos for HR and workforce management operations.
