The implementation was configured to produce a full set of group statutory accounts from trial balances assembled across three source systems, enabling monthly financial close workflows and quarterly IFRS submissions. Core financial capabilities were aligned to general ledger consolidation, statutory accounts preparation, group cash management and financial reporting, with configuration to support monthly results, cash flow and loan status disclosures.
Operational coverage included the group finance team, treasury oversight for working capital and international finance contacts who prepare local accounts, VAT and corporate income tax returns for subsidiaries in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and Austria. Reporting cadence was structured for monthly operational reporting and quarterly IFRS consolidation to the Japanese parent company.
Governance and process responsibilities were formalized during the rollout, with project management of the external audit and a designated lead contact to auditors. The finance team prepared and distributed IFRS research papers and worked on standardization of accounting practices across entities as part of the Netsuite implementation program.
