In 2013 Trintech implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP to address ERP Financial requirements across its multi-entity, multiple-country operations. The deployment centralized billing and invoicing for subscription-based Software as a Service, hosting, maintenance and support renewals while also capturing Professional Services revenue and Travel Expenses in a single financial system.
Oracle NetSuite ERP was configured to support sales order entry and billing workflows tied to subscription schedules and service contract terms, and to handle contract analysis and review information sourced from Salesforce.com for contracts and opportunities. Functional capabilities implemented include recurring billing for renewals, professional services billing and expense capture, and sales order to invoice orchestration within the ERP Financial environment.
Integrations were established between Oracle NetSuite ERP and Salesforce.com to align contract and opportunity data with order entry and invoicing, and invoice distribution was routed into customer accounts payable portals including Ariba, Tungsten, Taulia and Coupa. The implementation included processes for Purchase Order follow up to support invoice processing and for feeding invoices into external customer AP workflows, preserving auditability across multiple entities and countries.
Governance and operational coverage focused on cross-functional alignment between finance, sales operations, professional services and customer support, with defined workflows for contract review, sales order entry, billing and prompt responses to internal and external customer inquiries. Operational responsibilities emphasized centralized billing controls and transactional follow up to ensure invoices progressed through customer AP portals and internal processing queues.
