In 2019, TRUMPF implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its ERP Financial platform under the ONE Finance program. The deployment covered on site equipment orchestration, an integrated storage system, delivery of TRUMPF production know how, and the bundled service components and equipment maintenance required by the Pay-per-Part offer. The arrangement included Munich Re’s planned performance guarantee to underwrite the financial impact of potential production downtime, embedding risk transfer into the operational contract rather than into capital procurement.
Governance and process changes focused on shifting commercial and operational ownership away from traditional capital purchasing toward a consumption and service oriented model, positioning relayr Skyler to support service level monitoring, maintenance orchestration, and production responsiveness.
