In 2018 UMBRAGROUP implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations as its ERP Financial platform at UmbraGroup S.p.A. in Foligno, Italy. The deployment migrated core finance and operational workloads from Microsoft Dynamics AX and established the first Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations installation in Italy for the group.
The implementation concentrated on Financial Management capabilities within Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cost accounting, inventory control, procurement and production control functions. Configuration work emphasized multicompany legal entity setup, harmonization of the chart of accounts, and Italian statutory localization to align finance and reporting across the manufacturing group.
